Cut it Up #100 - Anything Goes!!

Welcome to our 100th challenge!  We’re so happy you joined us for our centennial challenge.  Enjoy the celebration!

Here is some of our history:  Cut it Up Challenge Blog was the brainchild of Stacey and Kimberly, born on Monday, July 30, 2012 and introduced to the world on Friday, August 3rd.

There was a design team call on August 10th and eight designers joined Stacey and Kimberly.  We got off to a great start!  Our first challenge was on September 7, 2012.  It was Anything Goes and we had 46 entries. CIU became a fun place for crafters to share their creations and our followers grew.  After awhile, Kimberly and Stacey graciously left Cut it Up in my care.  (Thank you so much!!)

Here are some CIU statistics:
Total entries: 3149
Average number of entries per challenge: 31
Least Popular Challenge: #52 – Grandparents’ Day – 2 entries :(
Most Popular Challenge: #41 – National Craft Day, Anything Goes – 180 entries :)

Originally, Kimberly, Stacey, and I provided many of the prizes ourselves. Throughout the years since then, we have had 39 wonderful, generous sponsors.  They’ve donated more than $1,200 in gift certificate prizes, more than 16 stamp sets, numerous paper pads, embossing folders and various embellishments!  We are so very grateful for their sponsorship.

Our most generous sponsor was As Cute as a Button who sponsored 32 challenges!

Our luckiest winners are Gail Scott, who won 9 times; and Melissa Sunshine HoneyBee, who won 8 times.

We have had 35 gifted designers through the years.  They were all invited back to participate in our 100th challenge celebration and several of them were able!  I’m sure you’ll recognize some familiar names.

Let’s get this party started!
